I went to church on Sunday, which is not something I'd normally do. My #2 son's music teacher from school called a few weeks ago and asked if he'd like to come sing at her church. There's no choir during the summer, and various people do solos or whatever. Of course he was excited about the whole whole idea, so off to church we went. While off on a tangent about energizing the youth or some shit like that, he started to rant about "the grunge" and how not good it was when your child got mixed up in it. I politely refrained from rolling my eyes and giggling, because "the grunge"? WTF? Hello, 1992 called and they and their fad back. His example was of a kid who wanted to dye his hair black. Oh, the horrors! He failed to explain how black hair dye led to moral ruin and eternal damnation, so I'm still wondering how that whole process works.
