I used to hate n00bs starting where I worked - being the one with all the experience, I always got them pushed off onto me. They were always the types that didn't listen, or didn't take shit in. I actually do have patience for training, but only if people listen to what I'm telling them. And as you said, your own work goes to shit dealing with said muppets. Then you get in the shit for being behind.

Not being able to get the time off you want both sucks and blows.
