A message from Gabe Saporta:

This is one of the few times you will see me rally for a cause. But I hope you all will take the time to read and sign this. It really is sad to see that in 2008 things like this are still happening. Thanks guys.

- Gabe

THIS WILL TAKE A MINUTE OF YOUR TIME AND WILL SAVE A CREATURE AND HOPEFULLY REMOVE THIS SO-CALLED "ARTIST"!!!

In 2007, the 'artist' Guillermo Vargas Habacuc, took a dog from the street, he tied him to a rope in an art gallery, starving him to death.

For several days, the 'artist' and the visitors of the exhibition have watched emotionless the shameful 'masterpiece' based on the dog's agony, until eventually he died.

Does it look like art to you?

But this is not all ... the prestigious Visual Arts Biennial of the Central American decided that the 'installation' was actually art, so that Guillermo Vargas Habacuc has been invited to repeat his cruel action for the biennial of 2008.

Let's STOP HIM!!!!!

or

(Alternate Link )
or just copy it in your browser to sign a petion to stop him to do it again, then digit the name Guillermo Vargas Habacuc to find the petition to sign.

Please do it.

It's free of charge and it will only take 1 minute to save the life of an innocent creature.

Please also send this to as many contact as you can... Let's stop him!!!

If you want to double check all the above information you can google the name of the 'artist' to see all I have just said corresponds to truth.

Thank you

Consider it signed. I was beyond disgusted when this bastard got away with it the first time. That he's even being CONSIDERED for a repeat is... well, I honestly have no words.

Fucking hell, what sort of cunt honestly thinks this is 'art'? I'm fucking ashamed to be an artist sometimes, with fuckwits like this doing such stupid shit...

How is it possible people went to that and didn't feed the dog? How is it possible no one punched the guy and took the dog home?
I'm boggled.

Holy hell. I usually don't sign petitions online, but how could I not?

I saw this the other day and signed the petition immediately. This makes me sick, physically ill. I am ashamed to live in a world where people could walk past this and not do anything.

I can't believe I'm about to say this, but where the fuck were PETA and other activists when this was going on? I remember reading about this when it first happened and I'm shocked that it seems no one really seemed to try to stop it. I mean, did no animal-friendly person in that entire area hear about this exhibition or was the security at this 'event' just insanely good?

Either way it made me sick when I first heard about this and it's no better this time :( WTF is wrong with the world.

Oh my god. I actually teared up.
Fucking heartless people think that is art? That dog could've been taken off the street and fed, bathed, treated with kindness.
Some people disgust me.
You and Gabe Saporta are not some people.
Signed.
