While the bonus for the party is a nice gesture, if you are doing a job above your own position and pay grade on a constant basis, it should be recognised by title and by a raise in pay. Sorry to hear that you're not getting something you deserve. =/

To answer your question - my holiday was pretty sucky and so far, the new year hasn't been much better either. I've been ill and I can't go out beccause of the snow.
