I wonder if the response won't just be something akin to "You're lucky bisexuals are even getting representation" or something similarly condescending :/ Agreeing with the above commenter, since I'm also American and rarely see LGBTQ characters, but what bi representation we see is very similarly distorted. Take Gossip Girl, for instance--the show didn't even flirt with the idea of bisexuality, but a storyline was HEAVILY played up in advertising where a male, straight character ended up halfheartedly kissing another dude, and it was supposed to be ZOMGSHOCKING. And he went back to being Straight With A Capital S while the fangirls pissed themselves and asked if he was gay now. Sad.
