It's a portmanteau of 'Fassbender' and 'McAvoy' - a shipper name, basically.
I don't know if you have Tumblr, but if so, look at the 'fassavoy' tag... or just go here:

They are all over each other. James has already claimed they slept together four times and now he's even using the name the fangirls do to tag their slash pairing.
