I've actually only spent 2 weeks in Vancouver, whilst on the way back to Saskatchewan where I was living with a now ex-gf.

I absolutely fell in love with the place in 2 weeks. Its got everything you could possibly need or want or both :)

I've got a degree in Sport Tourism and Vancouver were awarded the 2010 Winter Olympic Games, so I'm hoping to put the degree to some use and work on the committee for that. At the moment I'm hopelessly unorganised but it'll change once that visa shows up.

Perhaps I should join the St. Johns Ambulance? :)
