I just need a song or two I can hear and write into the mood of the fic I'm working on.

Well all the Cole Porter songs were written by1951 and Mad About the Boy is very 1950s. And although it is sung by a woman it is a very gay song (don't know what you're writing or if that helps). It was originally sung by a man.

I will have another look at what I have though.
