Who ya gonna call?
Last night was pretty impressive.
I can't be bothered to go into full details. I picked up on a lot and did a couple of pictures; one of a man we called Billy who had drowned in a car crash on the way to work and a black lady named Anna who had been involved with a senior member of the government in the early 50s.
I saw a lot, too. Full-body shadow beings, primarily.
There was a fucking hilarious moment when my team walked into the Operations floor, expecting to be alone, me in the lead, and ahead of me I suddenly see a black figure walk out of the gents.
I gave a tiny, "Wuh!" of surprise, but immediately realised it was a member of another group.
The women behind me went, "WAAAH!" because I went "Wuh!"
For some entirely unknown reason, we all then went, "WaaaaaAAAAAAAAaaaaaRGH!!!" in terror.
Shortly thereafter, we all fell over laughing.
We also all went out and watched the lunar eclipse, in the middle of the Essex countryside, which was nice.
I got home at 6.30am, got up just after noon, and resultantly, I'm exhausted now. I have work tomorrow. WAH. (WaaaaaAAAAAAaaaaagh!)
Less than three weeks to Vancouver, though. WOO!

i'm rambling... and i don't know if you are much of a club goer... but the nightlife there is really good. and DEFINITELY go to Odyssey, if for nothing else than to see gay men dancing naked in showers. it's totally worth it!

if you get a chance to go to the University of British Columbia, their museum of Anthropology is pretty cool. it's about an hour's drive out of the city (if i remember correctly), but worth it. also....The Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden, [43]. The first full-sized classical Chinese garden outside China. It is located in China town on the edge of downtown Vancouver. sorry.. had to copy and paste. it's really quite beautiful and relaxing, though kinda small. if you go there, and you like Asian food, i would suggest checking out some of the restaurants and shops in Chinatown. they have quite a few good restaurants there.
Gastown is also very cool, they have some really nice old buildings and such. and i think it's called the Pacific Center (?) is like a big underground shopping mall type of thing. i won't lie... stuff is kinda expensive, but still not a horrible way to spend the day.
last thing... i would suggest walking everywhere. taxis aren't too expensive if you aren't going far, but the city is soo insanely beautiful and clean, it's worth it to walk (as long as it's not too cold!). when i was there, we had a hotel at one end of the downtown area and walked all the way to the ocean roads on the way to Chinatown. it was a long walk... but very enjoyable.
i can't remember if you said exactly why you were going there... but how long are you staying? i REALLY want to go back, it's been a few years since i've been.
btw... their airport is soo cool! lol, i'm a dork, i know. but it's really nice inside, and they have big sculptures and stuff, and it feels like you are in a museum in certain parts of it.
