On buzznet you can give someone a 'buzz' if you like or approve of the post they make.

Joe was logged in, a couple of hours after a newsletter with a big link to the FOE Tattoo Parlour group was sent out, and my Joe tattoo got buzzed.

I don't know if that was him, but... hm.
