Tom and JJ from Third Star are both in it and in love with the same man. JJ's character is a ditzy blond and utterly talentless musician, and Tom plays an incredibly sweet but very socially awkward musical genius who is obsessed with Buddy Holly and the paranormal.

Hmm, color me intrigued! Is this JJ as in JJ Fields? Because I loved what little I saw of him in Captain America :D

He's basically playing himself in Third Star, by the sound of things.

The writer/producer is smitten with Tom, though. Always talking about how lovely he is.

I've just put Telstar on, but I'll only watch bits of it. Tom utterly steals it. He's so cute and awkward. Playing a real person, and apparently it's a really accurate portrayal.
