Earlier on, I decided to take some new pics for my profiles because I was using ones from ages ago with pink hair and things, and it just didn't look like me, any more. And I always feel stupid taking pictures of myself and end up dicking around. Well, this time, I decided to use one of the stupid pics, because, well... it's just kind of dorky.

My hair is almost completely back to black, now - I still have a few little strands that are blonde, but those will grow out... and then when I can afford it, I'll start again. XD

It's a nice picture. I can't do photo-speak, but I like how it fits, how it's framed? I don't know. It's nice.

Thanks. :)

Aw great photo. I love the burst of colour next to your dark features :) Makes your eyes stand out!
You should do a picspam of your hair through the years!

Haha. People can just go to my MySpace for that - but thanks. XD

Cute picture! :D

[identity profile] rosiedoes.livejournal.com 2008-04-23 11:16 pm (UTC)(link)
Thanks, hon. XD

ha, i like your eye. & your eyebrows! i swear, no one has good eyebrows anymore. they all pluck them to an inch of life. eyebrows should be drastic & vibrant. not, like, a trail of sparse single hairs across a forehead. big up the eyebrows!

uhh, that aside, you look incredible in this picture, & the funky rainbow background is awesome.

[identity profile] rosiedoes.livejournal.com 2008-04-23 11:34 pm (UTC)(link)
Haha. Thanks, that's my blankie. It comes on any sleepover or holiday I ever go to. I am starting a cult of the blankie. I have one, Julie has one, Julie's sister has one, I think Lib has one, my cousins have one each...

And my eyebrows are actually natural. Given a chance, they'd meet in the middle, but aside from that, that's just what they do. I guess I'm pretty lucky like that.

By the way - are you seeing Cobra at the Astoria?

[identity profile] moondarri.livejournal.com 2008-04-23 11:59 pm (UTC)(link)
your eyebrows have their own drama. my eyebrows do, too. i let them express themselves. it's nicer that way. [also, i'm lazy, & plucking brings unecessary pain. why bother?]

yes, i am going to see cobra at the astoria & found out today i have the day conveniently off work. whyfor?

[identity profile] rosiedoes.livejournal.com 2008-04-24 12:01 am (UTC)(link)
Because I have a spare ticket and no one to go with. DX

[identity profile] moondarri.livejournal.com 2008-04-24 12:02 am (UTC)(link)
so you are going, but just have no accompaniment?

[identity profile] rosiedoes.livejournal.com 2008-04-24 12:03 am (UTC)(link)
Yes. Plus an extra ticket.

[identity profile] moondarri.livejournal.com 2008-04-24 12:05 am (UTC)(link)
if i can find someone who wants it, i'll let you know. i'll ask my sister, she knows more people. also, feel free to come to the gig in my vicinity. meet up, hang out. it'd be nice. ?

[identity profile] rosiedoes.livejournal.com 2008-04-24 12:07 am (UTC)(link)
That would be awesome, if you guys would have me. XD

[identity profile] moondarri.livejournal.com 2008-04-24 12:08 am (UTC)(link)
haha, no problem at all, it would be awesome to have you there.

[identity profile] rosiedoes.livejournal.com 2008-04-24 12:12 am (UTC)(link)
Yay! XD I thought I was going to have to go by myself.

[identity profile] ms-mindfunk.livejournal.com 2008-04-24 12:51 am (UTC)(link)
v. cute. :)

[identity profile] flexible-k.livejournal.com 2008-04-24 01:53 pm (UTC)(link)
I wish I could rock short hair half as well as you do ma'am. It would save me a fortune in extensions and braider's fees.

[identity profile] rosiedoes.livejournal.com 2008-04-24 01:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Haha. Thank you. I wish, sometimes, that I could have long hair, and be girly, but it just doesn't work for me.

I'm sure if I was more girly I wouldn't have been single for nearly five years.

[identity profile] fredtheguava.livejournal.com 2008-04-24 02:54 pm (UTC)(link)
And I have one!

You're pretty good at this cult starting business.

Question - are you going to Cobra in Brighton? The young lady I met on the barrier at Decaydance is coming down for it, and it's in half term so I could maybe swing a post-Cobra pajama party if people wanted to crash with me.

[identity profile] rosiedoes.livejournal.com 2008-04-24 02:57 pm (UTC)(link)
I haven't got a ticket yet, but I would certainly consider it!

I don't know what the situation is at work, yet, but I'll get back to you on it for sure. Also: I have a ticket for the 18 May at the Astoria if you want to come to that. It's free.

Your blanket started this cult, you know. You're practically a demi-god.

[identity profile] rosiedoes.livejournal.com 2008-04-24 02:58 pm (UTC)(link)
XD Thank you!

[identity profile] rosiedoes.livejournal.com 2008-04-25 11:59 am (UTC)(link)
Decided, "Fuck it." I got paid today and just bought a ticket for Brighton.

[identity profile] fredtheguava.livejournal.com 2008-04-25 12:10 pm (UTC)(link)
Whoop! Have spoken to my housemate, and crashing afterwards is definitely okay if you fancy it, if not it's really easy to get to the station and trains will go til fairly late.
I think I'm going to have to say no to your spare ticket though - it's a school night and with the number of days I've had to take off from being genuinely ill, it wouldn't really be a good idea. But yay for Brighton!

[identity profile] rosiedoes.livejournal.com 2008-04-25 12:13 pm (UTC)(link)
You scared me for a second, there - I thought you meant you weren't coming to the Brighton show! *palpitations* I hate going to shows by myself.

I will most probably take you up on your offer of somewhere to stay after the show, but I'll see what the situation is at work first. If I'm even back at work...

[identity profile] fredtheguava.livejournal.com 2008-04-25 12:17 pm (UTC)(link)
Nope, definitely going to Brighton! I didn't even know there was one until Tori messaged me about it, Ticketmaster wasn't showing it. But yes, it is in half term, and right on my doorstep, and a very very good band. I will be there, don't you worry : )

You'll be back at work by then - even if you've told them to shove it up their arse and found something else. The way they're treating you, you totally have the right to do so.

[identity profile] rosiedoes.livejournal.com 2008-04-25 12:19 pm (UTC)(link)
I know, dude... *sigh* I'll go back to temping for a while if I really have to. I just don't really want to stay in the same industry, either.

In theory, I should be back in on Tuesday, but no one has told me anything. At all. It's a bit frustrating.

Still! Shows! It's going to be really cool. I have four in one week.
