My hair. Again.

It wasn't that long ago that my hair was really short.

Like this:

Well. I haven't had it cut since July, and now we have this:

I only realised today quite how long it was!

And a couple more if anyone cares... )

Ridiculousness.

Let me introduce my Wopfro!

That red? Is natural. It's just there. My hair has blonde in it, too. And the curls are all natural. I just got out of the shower and left it, this afternoon, and now it's a frizzy ball for fur.

Imagine how much straightening this used to take!

I think I'm going to grow out my hair for a while. I'm sick of waking up and looking like Moe from The Simpsons. It would be nice just to be able to tie it back for a change.

This does mean looking more ridiculous than usual for a few months while it grows out, but I fancy a change. *muses*

Earlier on, I decided to take some new pics for my profiles because I was using ones from ages ago with pink hair and things, and it just didn't look like me, any more. And I always feel stupid taking pictures of myself and end up dicking around. Well, this time, I decided to use one of the stupid pics, because, well... it's just kind of dorky.

My hair is almost completely back to black, now - I still have a few little strands that are blonde, but those will grow out... and then when I can afford it, I'll start again. XD

Fuck you, Justin Pierre and your damn anti-gravity hair!

What kind of sorcery hair products can maintain such a thing?! And why has no one told me about them?

*shakes fist*

Back in Black

So, the pink and blue was so, so hard to maintain - it washed out really, really quickly and looked awful.

I decided to go back to black, for a while. I can't really spend a lot of money (up to £70) on getting my hair done every month, so being back to black is probably best for now. I can go back to bright colours when I've finished college (if I go).

So, we've gone from this:

To this:

There's still bright blue and pink in the fringe (you can't tell too well, here) but it's much shorter and mostly black.

We'll see how it goes from here.

LOOKIE. I has teh rainbow hurz. (The pale pink/blonde bit is really yellow - and will get yellower soon.)

I couldn't be bothered to crop them, so excuse the composition. Then again, it's not a fucking photography competition.

Had my hair done again. The roots and the formerly yellow part are now a beautiful cream colour. The rest is red or tinted with red. I'm going to scrunch red dye into it tomorrow, so brighten some parts up, while leaving the rest creamy white.

It is so cool.

We're going to decide what else to do with it next month. Helene loves doing it because she gets to be creative - the day before I fly to Chicago, she flies back in from her own holiday. She insisted that I get my hair done on 21st - she is literally flying in and phoning me en route so she can do it as soon as she gets in - because she wants it to "be perfect".

I've not decided what I'm doing with it, yet, though - we'll see. It's looking pretty ace already.

New hair!

Except it's closer to scarlet on the red side and pretty much banana yellow on the other...

Slightly more accurate colours... )
