This Is Not A Democracy

So, the redesign is complete! It is now centred on the Wilmington Long Man, where I spend a lot of time celebrating the turning of the year.

I've got rid of some of the crap I used to have on here (needs more work, I think) and now I need to get into the habit of using it again.

How is everyone? Anyone still posting?

Yes, ladies and gentlement this is the account formerly known as icedmaple.

I decided to bring it in to line with the rest of my interwebby things which I am currently using.

If you know me at all, you probably know that anyway. Do not be confused!

Just had the most hilarious and surreal encounter with a mod at another community. Completely hysterical and victim blaming, attacking the way we mod sherlockbbc, while making up rules on the spot and freaking out. Because clearly, a fine job is being done. Especially given that the community you're running is all but dead.

Looking forward to showing Vinyl that exchange, because, I mean, really?

If you don't like the way we run the comm, leave. We've covered this. We promise not to cry. On the other hand, if you feel strongly enough to insult the way we mod to our faces, we don't promise we won't kick you out. Mods' prerogative.


Edit: Oh, we didn't have to ban her, she flounced of her own accord. :D I like it when they do that. So much less hassle. In fact, I strongly suspect that the troll was in fact the mod.

Am I really going to have to be the person to set up a Paul fan community? Really?

Can I really call it threetits? I mean, it's not taken, but is it too obvious?

Dear People Who Have Recently Friended Me:

Those of you who took the time to leave a comment - thank you! I've added most of you, but there may be one or two I haven't added back, because - with all due respect - I wasn't completely convinced that your journals were legitimate.

While I'm always ready to deal with trolls, it's something I hardly want to do all the time in my own journal.

People who added me and didn't bother to tell me why - please do. I don't like lurkers, and I use filters, so most of the stuff you're probably here to read won't be accessible to you anyway.
