I just applied for a job with a major international company in the North West Chicago area.

I don't know if I'll get it (I doubt I will, on account of the fact they'd have to sponsor me) BUT I thought. "Why not?"

The chance of an email saying, "No thanks" over the opportunity to live and work in Chicago? NO BRAINER. I am SO FUCKING QUALIFIED for this job.

The cost of living is really high in that area, but it can't be worse than where you are now. Just keep that in mind with salary talk, and I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!
