Hey - guys, I was thinking, what about a little private community for those of us embarking on or already eating non-mainstream diets? Something where we can all bounce off each other and share tips, without the epic craziness of the mainstream comms?

Would it be worth it, do you think?

I know a lot of my friends on here have stuff in common, but don't necessarily know each other...

Edit: I went ahead and created [livejournal.com profile] alt_kitchen. Come join!

I won't steal it. =)

I really like the idea of your new community. I hope it's really successful.

You can join, if you want!

I want to! But I don't really think it's appropriate. I haven't eaten red meat in over a decade, but I'm not a vegetarian any more and honestly I don't do it for any reason other than meat kind of skeeves me out, but I got it in my head that I could eat fish and chicken. If I don't think about it. I still prefer the vegegarian options.

There's this vegan lasagna that's really good, actually. It's frozen. I don't know if they have it in the UK. I can't remember what it's called.

Dude - it's for all diets. You can join just for the recipes and things - you've been a vegetarian so you know what it's about.

Well, alright. I just. You know. Didn't want to cause drama. And stuff. I am insecure about my inappropriate eating habits. It's kind of weird.

Pish. It's a community about diversity in diets. Hell, maybe you'll end up deciding to take up a different diet or something eventually, or share your knowledge.

It'll be fine. The whole thing will start with just my friends anyway. No one is going to be judgemental.
