Our gas bill in the last quarter was £90. Our gas bill for the winter quarter is £335.00.

Oh dude that sucks. I would ask the landlord to sort the heating system out if it is giving you so much trouble and costing you so much.

Holy crap dude. That's stupid amounts of money. I'd definitely see the landlord about some of that since you shouldn't have to pay that much for something that doesn't work properly.

They get away with so much shit these power companies. Ours was the same - from 97 to 320.

Trouble is we have no access to the meter so there's not much to do but pay. If you have a meter you can get to I suggest checking it - and maybe swapping to a different gas company.
