I just went and stood in my garden - wearing nothing but a t-shirt and knickers, I might add - and listened to the fireworks going off all around me. It was so cold my feet are numb (no shoes, either), but I felt warm.

It was amazing. An almost-full moon and a bright blue sky full of flashes and electric blue clouds.

I felt like I was standing in the blitz. Except my laptop was blasting out Dance, Dance...

Fuck, how I hopehopehope this is a wonderful year for everyone.

Say goodbye to 2006 and welcome in a clean slate.
