Patrick: [mimes scrubbing his face] ...I loofah...
AJ: You 'loofah'?!
Patrick: [with a somewhat camp shimmy of 'duh'] I loofah.
Joe: [deadpan, about AJ] He loves getting facials.
Patrick: [genuinely curious] Like cucumber over the eyes, and...?
Joe: [leans in, suddenly fifteen years old] No, no, the other kind of facials.
AJ: Dude facials.
Patrick: [long pause, and then, as if suddenly getting it] Oh!... Is that, like orange slices or something?
AJ: O_o Yeaaah, yeah, yeah. Orange peel. [looks at Joe]
Joe: [shame]

He genuinely is the sweetest, most innocent almost-23-year-old on the fucking planet.

How is it possible to be that sweet and naive at his age? HOW? Especially when your best friends include Pete 'Meet my P33n' Wentz, Joe 'The Only Time You Can Understand Me Through the Lisp and Excessive Use of the Words 'Like' and 'Awethome' Is When I'm Being Filthy' Trohman and a dude called Dirty.

I think they must protect him. Because he's so PATRICk, they have to make sure he stays that way, or the magic is lost.

Therefore, all the P33n, Dirty, Joe stuff is done when Patrick isn't there but occasionally they let him join in, but only for short periods (Bedussy).

Other than that - he has to stay gold. He is Ponyboy. Pete is Darrell

I think he's a combination of Darrel and Dally. the older brother who sacrifices their own things to make sure Soda and Pony are okay. Has the fun, but also the responsbility and goes very introverted at times because he's got so much on.

Yet there's elements of Dally, yes. The wildness, but Dally is TOO wild. Yes, he sorts them out when they run away, but he's only out for himself. Together, they both want the younger boys to stay pure.


So..
