So, since Pete and Ashlee announced their baby, and FoE posted a poll asking people to guess what the baby would be, some people in fandom have been freaking out about how the mother deserves privacy and how dare they ask this question all the time.

I'm not a mother, but I don't think it's a big deal - what do you think?

Personally? I wouldn't care. I don't really see what the big deal is, as a lot of parents want to know what the sex is before it's born anyway. But what would piss me off? Is people touching my belly. I would get really pissed off if people started doing that.

WORD. If it's rude to touch womens' (or anywone's) bellies when they're not pregnant, it's just as rude when they are. It's not like their belly suddenly belongs to the baby or anything.
