I ARE LAME. IN THE BIBLICAL SENSE.

So, my knee was fine until I fell on it really heavily three times at practice today. Over all, it was a good practice, but now my leg feels really quite pathetic and feeble. Coming out of the gym it felt like it was just going to give way (which, given the problems with the quadriceps insertion is a possibility).

I also have a cold, right now. I'm exhausted and frankly feel physically quite miserable. I hope I'm better by Saturday, as Vicky is coming down to visit properly for the first time in about five years.

Unfortunately, I see a hell of a lot of non-weekends in my future. I will be so glad when the office move is over with.

Also, I still have patches of that rash. I can't wait for my blood test on Monday, so I can have some answers. Mind you, it took them weeks and five instances of blood taking to get anything, last year. *head desk*

I hope this gets sorted soon. I'm so tired of being ill.

That's really an inexcusably long amount of time to get so little info...are they DNA testing or something? Cuz that's the only one I know that can take a bit.

No, they just kept losing the results or the results were inconclusive. They eventually decided that I have an unnaturally high white cell count all the time. They failed to notice the fact that I also had high blood glucose levels as well. My new doctor looked at my results recently and pointed that out.

He then wanted to book me in for another full blood analysis to test for pretty much everything and they couldn't fit me in for three weeks as they're down to one nurse at the moment in that surgery and she had holiday. :|

Usually they're much faster than that.

can more things be counted in or out since he figured that out? High white cell could say infection, but it sounds like your joints are inflamed too :(

Unfortunate timing D:

My last blood test was over a year ago; we'll have to wait and see what the new ones day, assuming they don't lose the results.

He's testing for everything from diabetes to liver problems and gluten intolerance.

The white cell count thing does seem weird, to me, but I guess we'll see if this doctor draws the same conclusions.
