I'd desecrate my mom's grave to BE THERE, but alas, I am a tard, and am starting school next week, which has no influence whatsoever on the date of the show, but apparently still means I can't do anything that requires me being outside the state.

I was only in Chicago in June, for HCT.

I think I want to go there most because I loved the place. And I might get to catch with Jay and the HRE kids.

Well, see, I went on my first holiday EVER to Vancouver in March and we took a trip down to Seattle for the day. Then I won a competition to go to Chicago, and now I'm bankrupting myself to go to Chicago again right before Christmas. Smart move.

Ah, see, when I move next month I'll be less than an hour South of Vancouver; so now when bands tour I can go to concerts in Vancouver then go home for a night and see the one in the Seattle/Tacoma area, which is what I'm planning to do for the new FOB tour (if they play in both locations, of course).

I think Chicago is worth bankruptcy, but I saw above you said either Chicago or New York and if I were you I'd go to NY. But probably only because I've recently had this weird longing to go there and see the city... Maybe next summer if I can save the cash.

Yeah, but I have friends in Chicago, it's one a weekend (not midweek) and I generally love the city anyway.

I really want to go there, too. We were in IL a few years ago and only like an hour away but OF COURSE we couldn't go *grumbles* It's also on my list of places to visit in my life, so someday! :-p

I'm thinking of going to the date in Chicago (I live in IL but it's actually closer for me to go to the St. Louis show). I think seeing them in Chicago is too awesome to pass up. The only problem is my friend probably can't take off work then. Anyway, you should go to the show in Chicago, I'd rather visit there than New York any day, I think it just has a better vibe.

Yeah, plus I know a couple of other people in town.

Julie and I have pretty much agreed to go.

When is this? Chicago is a bit off for me, but depending on date I could make it out. Unless you're going to NYC and I'd like to meet you there for a coffee or something.
