This seems to reinforce that decision.

That interview was incredibly sugary. I can feel the cavity developing. My favorite part may have been that she thought having her boobs complimented was "pretty cool." haha.

didn't read the interview, can't be fucked to deal with coupley shit & celeb mania, but. ehh. wasn't that girl just kind of doing the same as you? "dear pete, don't write lyrics." & "dear pete, i don't mind if you write lyrics." i mean, okay, she could've just not said anything, because you were obviously making a joke, & ohmygod, can't people just stop having opinions sometimes? but she was hardly causing wank at that point. you didn't have to reply to her, she didn't have to reply to you, etc etc. m'not saying you shouldn't defend your position when attacked, but. ehh. seriously, if it's that annoying, just get the fuck out of there. i took ich off my flist, i only watch tfl now & i don't even bother reading comments.

I think you missed the point of her comment. For a start, this girl causes wank every time I post something on ICH. She one of the regular idiots. Hence my not having much patience with her.

Secondly, her entire comment was intended to say, "Don't listen to the evil fans, Pete, because we know you read ICH - like me because I'm kissing your arse."

i did get that she was kind of doing the ass-kissing thing, but to me it seemed less a kind of gushing 'like me, pete, like me!' thing, & more like she was replying in a directly bitchy & provocative manner to your comment by parroting your words but saying the opposite entirely. which is why i agree that, yeah, people are idiots, people take things too seriously, learn to take a fucking joke & leave it alone. i don't know who the regular shit-stirrers of the fandom are, either, mostly because i like to keep out of it for my sanity. so yeah, okay, fair enough that you had little patience with her if she does this all the time. i just -- i don't know dude, i just wouldn't have even bothered replying to her comment, you know? because you know she's gonna kick some shit up, & then you'll be sarcastic at her, & she'll be sarcastic back, & it'll all just go on being a big wankfest because other people'll get involved in the big stupid drama that started out of nothing. but that's just me, i fail at confrontation, i'd rather stick my head in the sand & ignore what's going on. it's actually pretty fucking weird that i even posted that first comment to you or that i'm posting this one at all, because usually, i'd never directly criticise someone, 'specially if i think they're pretty cool, & i'm still kind of stuck in the 'must impress lj-friend & make them like me!' stage of things. your honesty's rubbing off on me. so, thanks.
