Phew. I just borrowed Viv's adaptor (we have the same laptop) and ordered a new one off Amazon for £27. I love that website, sometimes. Toshiba's site wanted £60 for it! Pffft.

I kind of didn't want to spend that, right now, but I get paid on Tuesday, thank God. I owe Julie millyuns of moneyz already for the car we hired for Yeovil. I might even be able to claim that money back from PC World, according to their customer service dude. I need to call up and tell them that they don't need to take my computer for TWO WEEKS, now. (Yes, they wanted to take it for two weeks because the adaptor broke. Dumbasses.)

In between times, me Julie* and I are off gallivanting most of the time, anyway, so I will get by with my Sidekick (which has done a sterling job this afternoon, I have to say. ILU Micro-Bob!) and possibly Viv's kindness.

I NEED YOU, INTERNET.

But for now I am going to hurriedly type up the utter bollocks I wrote this afternoon and try to make it half decent and Mpreg-worthy.

*this is a British joke for British people, I am not going twice. Because I is black.

Toshiba SUCK! I had to get a replacement cable for my laptop last October and they wanted £70 for a new one and then I had to wait 3 weeks to get a new one because the parts company people sent me the wrong one the first time around. Thank goodness my housemate had a cable that fitted my laptop or I would have died of internet withdrawl.

I know, dude! Getting one out of Dell after it electrocuted me was a nightmare.

I was working with teenagers when that song came out. The TRAUMA!

Mrs Lim refers to you as my Julie. She had no idea what she was implying. It was bloody hilarious.

big up staines massive! or not. Glad to hear about the adaptor! Did you ever go for that assessment lesson at Planet Drum?

Yeah! I did and they told me I had good rhythm, but then stuff happened and I couldn't afford £120 per month on lessons.

Maybe when I get a better job or something I'll be able to try.

I'm thinking about going for mine this weekend, mm the cost seemed a bit prohibitive to me too but they have a 2 students deal where it's £80 rather than £120 if you have lessons together... I thought maybe we could share if you still wanted to do it in the future? I'll see how it goes this weekend if I get the nerve to go!
Were they nice?

Yeah - the guy I had was really friendly.

I might consider it - yeah. Have fun if you go!
