It would just be so, crazily stupid. Just totally, ridiculously dumb. A complete train wreck.
Then, someday, on some VH1's "Has-Beens of the 00's" show they'd have a clip about FOB, about their meteoric rise to fame, and how it all came crashing down when they made the dubious decision to put out a raprock record. And Hal Sparks would mock them, mercilessly. And that Joel Stein guy who's always on those VH1 shows.
