So, Ashe and I were mocking this picture of Jensen Ackles and it wouldn't load when she showed me it - it took about ten minutes. In the meantime, we had this exchange:

Because today is the day of IM blogging and this one also included the phrase, "being gay all over each other."

(no subject)

This is one of my favourite songs of all time, and has been for as long as I could remember. It's a song about a young man leaving his small town home for the city, because of homophobia and trying to find a place for himself in the world. I've always known what it was about, ever since I was small, because either my mum or my uncle explained it to me.

There's just something about the song and the video that always got to me - in it there's the sense of alienation almost anyone on my flist will have felt at some point, for one reason or another, and there's also hope in the end. A sense that everything might be okay...
