They are a complete pair of wankers. But I do agree with Noel that an act like Jay-Z just doesn't belong at Glastonbury.

It's on a farm in a mystical area of Somerset. It has its own stone circle, a field comprised entirely of inhabited tipis, and a Pagan/New Age reserve known as the Healing Fields. It has a massive family focus - with family camping fields - a Greenpeace field, and a craft field.

It focuses on local businesses, on conservation and a very hippie-ish ethos with a long history of charitable causes and a very socialist nature.

Bling, girls and guns is so at odds with that, that having Jay-Z headline is like having drum and bass at a tea dance in a retirement home. Noel is right. It doesn't fit, and it has nothing to do with Jay-Z being black. Eminem wouldn't fit, really, either - regardless of what Dizzee Rascal says. Worthy of note, is thet DR is playing Glastonbury himself, this year. I can support him on the Kanye front, though - Kanye would work much better, for his activist nature. But he couldn't pull of headlining.
