I turned both off and they may have been removed, but there is/was two toolbars that appear that I found really annoying - one at the top of the comment pages and another when you hover over userimages.
The changelog tends to be a lot more detailed now, but 6 months ago it wasn't even always complete, and some of the tools were so integrated, it was hard to tell what was the plug-in and what was LJ's tinkering.
Mostly I use it for the LJ checker, cut unfolder (♥) and the tag selector. Those are all totally fucking awesome. As is the last comment log.
