*head desk* Time to start wearing calf-length floral skirts with elasticated waists, I think.

that makes me feel - old & young at the same time. because i remember that song from my youth, but i was only two when it actually came out, so. (if it helps anything at all? first time i met you i was totally confused because i thought you were about my age.)

I hate the "oh shit, I'm far older in reality than I am in my head" moment. The other day I was flicking through a magazine and complaining that Daisy Lowe was irritating, and Bethan went "I know, and she's our age!" and I had to point out that, at nineteen, she most definitely is not our age. Then we felt old. Butbutbut... in my head I'm still nineteen!

I realized the other day that I've been driving half of my life. I teach the children of people that my younger brother went to school with.
