I feel bad for two people in all of this, if it's true: The kid, who is going to have the weirdest homelife with two apparently off-kilter parents. And Patrick who is way more capable of being a parent than Pete is, and who wants it so badly, bless him.

I know nothing about Joe Simpson. But he's bound to get Joe Trohman as some kind of godfather, so I guess that balances out with sheer awesomeness.

Well, in your opinion... do you believe it? That whole nose job thing exploded and then he confirmed himself on fobrocks that it was a rumor (thank God for that, too).

At least if there's no kid, an actual marriage may never follow whether there's an engagement or not.

I dunno, I mean, if it's true I guess I'm 'happy' for him, but I still don't see him as being really happy with her and marriage ain't gonna fix it.


I'm definitely not going to freak out any more until we get actual confirmation or at least see this "big rock" on her finger. He'll probably come back from Uganda and have all this press thrown at him and he'll be like "WTF? We're not engaged!"

Poor guy. I hope he hasn't gotten engaged to her. I've seen maybe one picture where he looks believably happy, lately, and I still feel like this was all an arrangement for publicity and to get back at Jeanae that's kind of grown out of all proportion.

I think he's trying to believe he's happy, but I'm just not feeling it, you know?

None of this actually affects me personally, except I worry for the band, if they do. I'd hate to see her go Yoko.

Exactly; I think I know what pictures you're talking about and I was like "Wow, that's the first time I've seen a real smile on his face around her." And he may be happier than he was before, but that doesn't make her "the one" like it seems he's almost desperate to believe.

I almost feel like a bad fan for admitting that I worry that this will get in the way of the band, because I *do* want him to be happy. But if FOB goes to hell after this, it's not going to be pretty and I will be pretty pissed tbh.

I definitely agree with everyone who said that there's only *one* picture where he looks happy with her. That's not a terribly good way to start off an engagement if the rumor is true. I hope it's not because I'd hate to see her be another Yoko Ono. And poor Joe doesn't even have any side projects!
