So, I quit my RPG.

[livejournal.com profile] elven_wolf quit, the new mun couldn't be bothered to communicate with me at all and the character I played opposite - who was already established as being gay - is now dating Heighmeyer.

Hokay.

Waste of time and effort to stick around anyway, where people don't really seem to understand the concept of actual Roleplay.

*blink* Wow, that does not jive at all with what the new mun and I discussed. Unless he's dating Heightmeyer out of some misguided denial. But still, I did emphasize she talk to you. :P

"um, ok, first...my character now. I will be edit the bio as I find the time and there was not a lot of 'on-screen' posting done before i got him to set him up as exclusively gay.

I choose to play him as bi, though he prefers men. I don't need to justify the arc that Scifinut and I have worked out on this. Please remember that Kate is a psychologist and Nut feels that she is bi as well. I think she will end up helping him confront his issues with his gay side and remain his friend.

I'd also like to add that while I know the two of you had planned a Stacks/Marham pairing, I feel it would be extremely out of character for Adam to become involved with a subordinate (someone on his team). Even the way Jay wrote him out makes that sort of relationship anathema to the characterization."

Oh well. I'd hoped for better, but it's their game. I'm out and I'm not going to be pulled back into the drama. I am disappointed that through my leaving I've ruined it for you as well, though.

*shrugs* The players - some in particular - proved themselves not to be the kind of people I wanted to spend my time RPing with, anyway. Which leaves more time for gay!emokid!fic - woot!

I am way too new and have no clue what you guys are talking about. I really like your icon though! What exactly is fic and fandom and all this? And also, do I look like a moron asking this?!

WOW. That's very new!

Fandom is a term for the community of fans (usually online) for any source. TV shows, books, films, comics, etc.

Fic or fanfic is short for fanfiction, which is when fans write stories for fun, using the characters and worlds of their fandoms.

When a fanbase revolves around a band, it is dubbed 'bandom'.

Hehe - no worries. LJ is cool like that. You'll make a bunch of friends from posting in communities and things then you'll never want to leave your computer!
