I just quit
rumraisinv. Why? Because the mod isn't very mature and is pretty damn selfish.
She just told me she she "couldn't be bothered to remember" how to do an LJ cut for the five large pictures she posted - and it's the second time in about 24 hours she's done that.
She also posts so many fucking bulletins on the MySpace, I shall be leaving that, too.
Edit:

It's just not necessary.
And a word to the many: bragging about knowing people and using the fact that you know them and/or talk to them on IM to taunt the rest of the fanbase with 'I know something but I won't confirm or deny it' posts? Very, very childish. If you're not allowed to say anything, DON'T SAY ANYTHING. It makes you look like a prat and it actually is betraying their trust.
Think about it.
Edit 2:
In response to this (as I know you're lurking) and I can't respond I left the comm -

wow, ok. sorry about that. But seriously i am running both these sites on my own and sometimes i really dont think about putting shit behind cuts. i mean they weren't that big, if they were huge, i would stick them behind cuts.
And umm thanks for that little post on me. Sorry about all the myspace bulletins trying to make sure everyone knows when we have new stuff, or trying to make sure they can see our main page because i had like 9 messages yesterday saying they couldn't because they had mac's. i thought it was a good thing i was keeping them informed and involved.
Whatever, i didn't think of your last post as an ultimatum but i guess it was.

I say:
Yes, it was. And I'm not the only person who just quit because of it.
I've been getting increasingly irritated by the MySpace bulletins - some of which are absolutely nothing to do with Cobra Starship or Victoria - and I do think your behaviour can be pretty immature. I'm not going to pretend otherwise.
I run several communities, and it's my responsibility to keep them in check. If you can't find the time to do both properly (especially when you can find the time to post innumerable bulletins all the time) I, and apparently people on my flist, don't have the to wade through the junk.

on 2007-10-30 09:01 am (UTC)There's nothing I hate more than those bulletins on Myspace. And when someone posts several a day, that's even worse.
And ugh, I hate it when people are too lazy to use an LJ cut. You can't remember a simple code? It's NOT THAT HARD. Also, do people not realize there are clients like Semagic that do all the work for you so you don't have to? Gah.
