The answer to the TWIRLING DANCER POST:

If clockwise, then you use more of the right side of the brain and vice versa.

Most of us would see the dancer turning anti-clockwise though you can try to focus and change the direction; see if you can do it.

so. so, okay. interesting. though you say 'most of us' would see it anti-clockwise, but i'm pretty sure the majority of people on your flist saw it clockwise? so. it just shows the type of people here. ^^

That's what the actual article says.

But considering most my friends are slash writers and pagans, it kind of makes sense that they'd be right-brained. :)

I did this somewhere else a while ago and was convinced it couldn't possibly anything other than clockwise. Then I blinked twice, quickly, and it went anti-clockwise.

If you look at the foot and/or wobble your head in whatever direction you want it to go you can make it change. Naturally definitely clockwise to me though.

I am pretty sure I am NOT right brained [hello, least artistic person ever], but I see it going clockwise and can not get it to switch. Maybe my eyes are attached to the right side of my brain, but the rest of my brain is ruled by the left. Maybe?

Hrm...I saw it going anti-clockwise, but I am so not a left-brain person at all.

Weird.

I could make myself see both, but it was first clockwise because otherwise the supporting ankle goes 360 in a painful way :)

I saw it as anti-clockwise, and I'm definitely on the left-brain side ... with some of the right-brain tendencies (if this makes sense)!

Hahah, that explains why it was clockwise for me. Those descriptions are so much closer to my personality.

Wow, that's crazy. It was completely clockwise for me, I couldn't even get it to switch when I concentrated and tried to see it the other way. I am very right-brained though, that was spot on.
