MTV|2 is doing a Best of British thing today, and for the first time in ages, I saw the Director's Cut of Doves' Black & White Towns.

It reminded me how the video disturbed me when I first saw it; it's a scarily accurate portrayal of what it's like to grow up in the Nowhere Towns in the UK.

It's pretty depressing, you have been warned.

*shudder* That was my teenager-dom. I remember spending all my time either staring vacantly out of my window or staring vacantly whilst sitting on a wall beside a road somewhere. No wonder all the kids flee to the cities first chance they get.

Mine was like the two girls sitting on the bridge. It disturbs me how real that video feels.
