Someone just posted this, anonymously, on ICH:

"Joe and Patrick are going to read your fic about them soon."

o_O Well. It could be worse, I guess. At least I don't write porn or portray them as fourteen year old girls.

If it was an attempt to rattle me, it hasn't, because I know that in comparison to some of the utter shit out there, my fic is both sane and reasonably decent. I'd rather they weren't subjected to fanfic about themselves, because really, that has to be pretty embarrassing if it's true that they really are aware of it.

But handing out fanfic in general? Kind of pathetic, kids. They're perfectly capable of googling it, if that's what they want to read, and it just makes you look very, very sad for trying so hard.

Nice move.

Ironically, I've been planning to write a fic about them reading fic for ages.

Thanks, hon. My friends and I have actually discussed it before and y'know, if they're going to read fic, we'd all rather it was something that didn't involve explicit boyhumping and flaily teenage girlness.

Doesn't mean I want them to read my fic, but yeah. If they were to get hold of it, I wouldn't be embarrassed.

From Joe's point of view, I find it vaguely embarrassing and I'm a bit cross at this kid for subjecting Joe to that. But for myself, I'm pretty indifferent to the notion of them reading my fic, because I don't find it that embarrassing.

Ahahaha wtf, that's just not on. Though I was quite recently told that their girlfriends actually find fic and fanart quite a bit and show it to them.

There's is a very good chance Pete's seen my FANART. I mean. This person TOLD me he has. I take it with a grain of salt, but I tend to believe her and. Um. I've really never drawn anything even vaguely normal. Bwahahaha oh god. He'd think I was completely insane. XD

Frankly, I find the idea of the guys reading or seeing our work pretty awesome. I know I'm in the minority. Heh

I can't say I enjoy the prospect, but I'm more bothered that someone thinks it's okay to do that, than the concept of them seeing the actual fic.

My stream of posts about they are clearly all gay is one thing, but the fic is fic, and I think they're all intelligent enough to know that, even if they find it weird.

I hope Marie hasn't been reading my fic, because she always gets screwed over, the poor girl.

Nah, the poor girl was totally the victim in Hedonism, and the other three fics are too early for her to exist. She even tries to be really understanding in the Mpreg and still ends up being pushed out.
