i did get that she was kind of doing the ass-kissing thing, but to me it seemed less a kind of gushing 'like me, pete, like me!' thing, & more like she was replying in a directly bitchy & provocative manner to your comment by parroting your words but saying the opposite entirely. which is why i agree that, yeah, people are idiots, people take things too seriously, learn to take a fucking joke & leave it alone. i don't know who the regular shit-stirrers of the fandom are, either, mostly because i like to keep out of it for my sanity. so yeah, okay, fair enough that you had little patience with her if she does this all the time. i just -- i don't know dude, i just wouldn't have even bothered replying to her comment, you know? because you know she's gonna kick some shit up, & then you'll be sarcastic at her, & she'll be sarcastic back, & it'll all just go on being a big wankfest because other people'll get involved in the big stupid drama that started out of nothing. but that's just me, i fail at confrontation, i'd rather stick my head in the sand & ignore what's going on. it's actually pretty fucking weird that i even posted that first comment to you or that i'm posting this one at all, because usually, i'd never directly criticise someone, 'specially if i think they're pretty cool, & i'm still kind of stuck in the 'must impress lj-friend & make them like me!' stage of things. your honesty's rubbing off on me. so, thanks.
