I had vaguely heard of him but wasn't sure exactly why (he is in an Empire magazine I bought a while ago). Researching him, his very highest chart position with a single in the UK was number 48 in 2001, so almost the opposite of famous here. And he has caused controversy with his anti-gay lyrics and songs where he criticises people in mixed race relationships, so I am not sure he deserves to be better known.

Although apparently he is going to be the Green Lantern in a Justice League film so maybe he will be slightly more famous in three years when it comes out.

Wow. Considering all that came from a pic of Pete with him, in a fandom that is passionately pro-equal rights, anti-homophobia, deliberately slashy and fantastically good-hearted, I really kind of wonder what fuck up of a fan thinks he's great.
