So, pnkhorn and I went to see tonight's test taping of The Colbert Report, and knowing Stephen would let the audience ask him questions after the warm-up, I prepared a good one. I've always wanted to ask him this, too. However, since he kind of knows me and I really didn't want to draw any attention to myself, I told Brandie my question and she asked him. It was perfect and we phrased it thusly:
Q: I've been a big fan of yours for a while, and I've noticed something. From Exit 57 to Strangers With Candy to segments with Jon on The Daily Show: what's with all the gay?
And his response?:
Stephen: It's simple: I crave cock. It's too bad because we could have had something beautiful together, but it'll never be because I just crave the cock!
i. love. their. faces. colbert is ridiculously adorable in his straight-laced kind of way, & jon stewart - well. few words can describe jon stewart except MADE OF AWESOME. despite the fact that this avenue q song is used for pretty much every fandom slash vid ever, this one was a good one & i muchly enjoyed. :)
