01. What did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before?
Moved in with a friend, visisted Ireland, swam in the Atlantic, signed on.
02. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't think I made any, but probably not.
03. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Yes! I'm never sure whether it's okay to mention stuff about her personal life in connection with her username, but someone I love dearly gave birth to a little boy.
04. Did anyone close to you die?
Not so far.
05. What countries did you visit?
Ireland.
06. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
A job. I had one until the end of July, but I'd like a permanent one, now, please.
07. What date from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
16 August (moving day)
08. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Moving house, I suppose.
09. What was your biggest failure?
Not finding another job quickly enough, because of the economic downturn.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nothing that I haven't always had.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
Huge bags of sweets for Four Year Strong. Twice.

I'm not going to name names here, but there are people who deserve to have their heads smashed in; as well as everyone who voted 'yes' on Prop H8te. Fuck you, ladies and gentlemen. Fuck you.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Deposits and food.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Fall Out Boy playing at the bottom of my road, pretty much. But I can't afford tickets yet.

a. Happier or sadder? In some ways, a little sadder; in others a little happier.
b. Thinner or fatter? Marginally thinner.
c. Richer or poorer? Much, much, much poorer. I've gone from living on around £1300 per month to living on £242.
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Working! And travelling. I missed America so much this year.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Sitting around at home, waiting for work to show up.

I don't really speak to anyone on the phone, so I'd say probably Julie in person and Matte online.

No. I can't even remember what that feels like.

Hahahaha. No.

South Park.
24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Most people, to be honest.

I don't read it if it's not on a screen, or a map.
26. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Spitalfield. Alas, too late.

A new FOB album; alas, t'was not what I would have hoped.

A job.

I don't think I've been to the cinema this year.

I went to see Four Year Strong for my 26th birthday.
31. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
GETTING AN AWESOME JOB AND BEING ABLE TO AFFORD STUFF.

Meh.

Um... I'm not quite sure this applies.

DAN O'CONNOR.

US Elections and Prop H8te.

I don't really miss people.
