Our boiler has been weird lately - the heating works, but we'd only get bursts of hot water, stuff like that. We've had a plumber, and boiler engineer, and today another plumber looking at it.

My radiator has now been bled twice.

And the boiler now isn't working at all, meaning it's getting kind of cold in here and my feet are already numb. I have jean, socks, a t-shirt and a hoodie I bought in Seattle on, and this thing is designed for Seattle weather, so it's pretty cosy. But I'm still cold and I still have a fucking blanket and a hot laptop on me.

Seriously unimpressed, because this means I can't shower in the morning, until after the plumber comes back to fix whatever he did today.

hahaha.
it was -4 today, and people had spring jackets on.
round these parts -16 to -30 is normal for the months of november thru march.
sometimes i have to do laundry to get my pipes to unfreeze. ( the dryer for some crazy reason helps defrost them)

i'd never trade it for heat and hurricanes though, that's for sure!

I have a skin condition which means I'm hyper-sensitive to temperature, though, unfortunately.

My extremities get a little bit too cold or a little bit too warm and they react as if they were in major extremes of temperature. So my feet are numb right now and my hands are getting stiff.

i get really bad frostbite on my face if i'm outside, unbundled for more than about 5 minutes. the boy laughs at me cause ill come inside and my face will be frozen in place for 25-30 minutes before i thaw out. haha.

do you know what condition it is you have, or no?

They think it's Raynaud's, but we're still working on figuring it out.
