rosiedoes: (Planes: Falling)
[personal profile] rosiedoes
In the space of about 4 days, there have been five aircraft involved in four crashes.

The two training craft in Wales.
The American communter jet.
The 'hard-landing' of the plane at London City.
The helicopter crash in Humberside.

WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON!?

I know!!

I'm terrified of flying right now and I do it a lot! My sister is flying down at the end of this month and I probably won't relaxc until she is on the ground.

The strangest thing is that four of the planes crashed in Britain.

Weird. Don't get on an airplane. Haha. Srsly though, I would be very scared to get on a plane if I were in Britain. I'm scared anyway and I'm in the US. Of course, Denver had an airplane slide of the runway not to long ago.

It wasn't so long ago that we had the plane at Heathrow crashlanding... :\ I wonder what the hell is going on.

Gosh, that is soo scary.

In reality I think that this winter has just been very weird and the airplanes aren't used to the changing weather.

But in my paranoid mind, I think that the beings above are just trying to kill us all off. :C

I certainly think there's something unusual going on - not sure what I'd attribute it to, though.

Not to mention all the other incidents in the last few weeks. The 'hard landing' and the nose cone problem was the second in two weeks with the same model. And the Hudson River crash.

http://avherald.com/h?list=&opt=7168 (that's just the more major incidents)

I've always believed I would die in a plane crash.

Well, remind me not to go on any long journeys with you then!

Haha - that's what Alex said when we were supposed to fly to Edinburgh.

Well I have been on 7 flights and I passed out and was very ill in one (landing in Florida) and on the way from Edinburgh to london my head was incredibly in pain, so much so that I looked around and was shocked that everyone else seemed relaxed. All that air pressure is awful, so that's enough reason to try and find other means of travel, without other worries.

I never have any problems flying, except for when we landed at Cork and almost went off the end of the runway.
