Oh my God.
Remember Sgt Markham?

Well, before he became a good, dead space Marine, he was in a show called Casualty - way, way back in about 1997 - playing the boyfriend of gay nurse Sam Colloby.

Now, thirteen years later, he's back in the role of Canadian George, the Locum on the spin-off series, Holby City.
Julie and I have always loved Joe's adorable gayface. Because it's an adorable, gay face, of course. But there is a long-standing joke about how he simply cannot kiss girls. He always looks awkward and squicked. Even when playing Catherine Cookson's hot bot in A Dinner of Herbs.
But today? Oh, today! Today on Holby he felt up a male nurse and apparently admits that he's bi next week.
I'm fairly sure that our shrieks of squee could be heard in Bristol.
This makes me so deliriously happy. I wub you, awkward!Joe. I wish our website hadn't been lost when the harddrives died...
