Things I have learned over the last couple of days: there is nowhere near enough Ghost Hunters slash in the world and what there is is bad, porny Jay/Grant or O!M!G!STEVE!IS!DEAD!AND!TANGO!IS!DEVASTATED!(ALSO!BRIAN!IS!A!SEXUAL!PREDATOR!WHOM!NOBODY!CAN!RESIIIIIIST!).

Really. There is one good fic that I have discovered so far, and I've reached the entire fandom's outer limits.

What the shit is this?

There is so much manlove in this show it's only shown after the watershed! You have adorable dudes, you have clamouring for each other in dark spaces, you have canon fights and pet cats called Sassy Lashes. HOW IS THIS NOT DROWNING IN RPS?!

I know 95% of you would nail SteveCop given half the chance - there are at least three possible Mary-Stu's to play with, including two OTPs with plenty of canon backing/on-screen angst/snuggles. You have a chubby, tattooed, sticky-fingered cop who goes into children's rooms and eats their sweets, and a lovably dorky Italian Jersey boy who truly believed the tiara Steve put on his head was a broken torch and TOLD A GHOST HE WAS GLAD IT WAS DEAD! I mean, c'mon!

Get your goddamn bunnies in gear!

Me and my sister (who also reads on the 'net) were watching episode 1, season 1 the other day and laughing our butts off at the underlying meaning in a lot of what Jay and Grant say. I think it's hilarious! I haven't read any Ghost Hunters fanfic, and probably won't, but I can see where there'd be a lot of good plots to be had! (And I'm a total Steve fangirl. LOVE HIM!)

Steve is my favourite. He's chubby and adorable and scared of everything and he's into decent music and has tattoos and omg.

Search YouTube for 'Steve and Tango' and watch the videos. They are so precious together.

But yes, everything that happens on that show is open to interpretation... Especially Jay and Grant 'fisting' in the car on the way home, every episode.

Also: *cough*.

My sister has the first 2 or 3 seasons on DVD because she's a huge Ghost Hunters fan, and we watch them any time we catch them on TV as well.

Don't think I don't see what you're trying to do here, Rosie! I've already clicked this link and am currently reading the second part and it's a slippery slope, indeed!

Alas - 'tis the only good fic in the entire fandom.
