I think I'd have felt judged in those circumstances too. Gabriel's comment was kind of shitty - I can't fault the honesty but there is a time and place for that level of honesty and this definitely wasn't it.
I have absolutely no time for those who choose to drink/smoke/use and then claim oppression by society when called on those habits. I really don't even understand why that woman was there, hollering about being judged for drinking. And the fact that she got defensive - that just indicates that she knows there is an issue with that area of her life.
