...or does tiny!teenage!Caleb (the kid on the right, obviously) bear something of a resemblence to a very young John Lennon in this photo?

I can't find the specific image it reminds me of, but look around the eyes, and the illusion of the shape of his nose (which is actually quite different, really).

I can definitely see what you're getting at, yes. I think if his hand wasn't there the similarity wouldn't be quite so obvious, but it's there in that photo.

Every now and then I've noticed it around the eyes, in more recent pics, but this is the most obvious one I've seen so far.

The weird thing is, his newer music actually sounds a bit Hey-Jude-era-esque Beatles as well.

There is a slight resemblance, yes. Definitely in the eyes and maybe the nose too.


I confess, I have an ulterior motive in replying - a friend of mine is looking for a good tattoo artist in either Birmingham or London, to work on something custom. I said I'd ask since you have art - and excellently done art too - if you could recommend someone worth making enquiries of.

It would depend on what she wants. I had a tattoo done by Piotrek Taton, which is good but because I designed it myself doesn't begin to demonstrate how awesome he is.

He's really good with colour and depth, often working on horror-themed tattoos as portraits. And for some reason, loads of photo-realistic vaginas. And then he comes up with stuff like this.
