1. What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before?
Pretended I didn't hate the word 'Veronica' with the fire of a thousand suns. Fortunately, I didn't have to keep that up long.

2. Did you keep your New Year’s Resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I genuinely do not even remember what they were.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
My Stephmum had twins - Mia and Marco.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
Not so far.

5. What countries did you visit?
Helenland.

6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?
A relationship not marred by the other person being A COMPLETE CUNT. A credit card (my houseshare ruins my credit rating, man!)

7. What dates from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Er. I don't think any will.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Getting TCO up and running; much of which, Julie and I owe to The Lovely CJ Wallis. He is The Win.

Trusting people.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Yes. I've been more sick this year than I have in half a decade.

11. What was the best thing someone bought you?
Probably the 'HINKLE' t-shirt from Julie or the Lakota feather pendant from Helen and Luke.

My supervisor knocked his missus up. Does that count?

Pretty much the whole of the Band of Brothers fandom.

Food, laptop, Lakota Aid.

Getting and email from Boyan Vukelic! That was of the awesome. And he's very sweet.

Probably a tiny bit fatter. My boobs are certainly [even] bigger.

Exercise, travelling.

Dealing with crazy people in the Band of Brothers fandom; taking shit from my brothers; arguing with my housemate.

Sitting in my nan's flat, arguing with my uncle.

I thought I did; I was wrong.

None. It's just not my thing.

Richard Winters' autobiography.

I don't think there really are any new ones.

Checked shirts. Because I'm just that butch.

An external hard-drive.

Jarhead.

Went out for dinner with some good friends and got completely pissed on mead.

31. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Not having had the most fucked up relationship of my adult life, but having a decent one, instead.

Can't be arsed.

The internet.

35. What political issue stirred you the most?
I consider it political, and I would say the treatment of the American government of the people of Pine Ridge Reservation. The Bureau of Indian Affairs is run by the same section of the US Government that handles fucking livestock.
