I got my new tattoo today!

Yeah, it's blurry and my arm looks fat and inflamed, but fuck that.
My new tattooist is really nice. Her name it Lucy and she works at Into You in Clerkenwell - I really recommend her. She has a very steady hand and is just generally cool. She seemed to Know Of the tattooist who did my maple leaf as well. She sounded a bit dubious.
I'm thinking about getting the same effect on the left elbow with hearts. Hearts & Stars!
I might also get her to do a really large, solid red star that wraps around my wrist and some scattered ones around it like on my elbow, over my maple leaf, and then getting her to re-do the maple leaf properly on the other wrist.
I am so addicted to tattoos.
I keep thinking of things I want - but I'm only getting them on places that won't be distorted as I lose weight. I kind of want a red silhouette of a bat (my life-long favourite animal - not a Clandestine reference, thanks) about four inches across on the back of my shoulders, in the middle.
That would be awesome.
But yeah. My new tattoo owns.
And none of you know the seekrit references.

on 2007-01-11 12:32 am (UTC)I try and get something pierced or tattooed at least once a year, I'm missing out from '06 but that has more to do with a MIA tattoo artist than anything else...plus I can always make it up with 2 in 2007 :)

on 2007-01-11 12:38 pm (UTC)I do recommend Into You. They're a bit more expensive than the last place I went - but looking at the website they all seem to be pretty good at what they do.
My tatt is about four or five inches from end to end and it cost me £90 and 45 minutes ink time.
