Have been in touch with Dell. They are sending me a new adaptor. WOOHOO!

Not sure how soon, but if I remember correctly it was within a couple of days, last time. Desperately hope it's dispatched today. Surely they have those premade, right?

In other news: Psychic Development last night was Of The Awesome. Apparently, I'm good when it comes to the ghostlies, even if I could read your biography and not be able to tell you fuck all about yourself (unless you're a little-known actor and probably based in Vancouver).

Also: Tim Matthews (#3 in the TCO network) has a website, but just for his music. KWEET! ♥

Also also: Still nothing from Boyan. :( I dunno... you try to do someone a favour...

ALSO also also: it's my birthday nine days after [livejournal.com profile] anw's (making it 26th November). Far be it from me to steal his decadial thunder, but what do you bitches fancy doing? I'll take suggestions and then do a poll at a later date. My birthday this year, my 24th I'm not ashamed to say, falls on the Sunday immediately before the Monday when I get paid. Which bites. However, would people like to go out for a nice, quiet drink or dinner on the Saturday and then celebrate proper the weekend after? The choice is yours.

Pimp in comments. Danke.

Dell Are Scum.

My charger, the one bought in February, is completely dead.

I am currently using Robert's. I could kill Dell. I've had the fucking thing six months and it's dead. I can't phone them until Monday (although I emailed them about it yesterday) and it will take five days at the very least to get a replacement. I may have to pay £45 for a new one if they won't replace it free of charge (which they bloody ought to).

I remember when it broke last time. It was agony going without my laptop for so long. I can't even watch DVDs, as I use my laptop for that. Definitely can't watch Dogma. Can't listen to my Bath Music mix when I have a bath, as that's on Media Player and is about two hours of music. And, oh yeah, my stereo doesn't work.

I hate Dell. I wish they'd open their customer service department outside of office hours and for God's sake, sell their accessories in shops, even if they won't sell the computers that way. I could just go to Dixons if they did.

So yeah. Generally enraged and frustrated.

If you don't see me for a week, you know why.

Computer update: Dell talked me through flashing my BIOS, which will hopefully help. It was an arduous process, I must say - me croaking around my swollen glands, him working with a strong Asian accent. He did try hard though.

He also reassured me that the most I need for my computer is an external hard drive and that it's fine for now.

So: That's going to me my request for Christmas, I think. Cash. Considering I can get a 400Gb one which is attached by a USB port for £115 on the PC World website, it shouldn't be a problem.

Mmmm, 400Gb.

Computer panic.

Laptop charger is giving me problems. Battery about to die.

Back as soon as I fix it!

WOE!

Edit: Fixed it. However, it has been playing up since last night. I'm going to contact Dell, but if you find you can't contact me or I disappear, my charger is fucked.
