Wherein I display my latent hypochondria...
Saturday, 7 April 2007 10:02 amYeah, so, welcome to Rosie's royally fucked up body clock.
It's 10am; I just got back from the supermarket. I woke up around 4pm, yesterday and haven't been to bed, yet.
This week I have mostly been going to bed around 7am and getting up around 5.30pm.
At the end of last week, I went to bed around 1am Saturday morning, got up at around 9-9.30am Pacific Time and, aside from some light drowsing on the planes between Vancover and Chicago and Chicago and London, I didn't sleep again until around 3.30am Tuesday morning.
Calculating these hours, I was awake for something like 60 straight, existing on a packet of ProPlus, two cans of Red Bull and quite a bit of coffee and Pepsi. And donuts.
I've had a headache ever since and I'm shaking more than 'normal'. Nice. I'm back at work on Tuesday, so I'll better get that sorted.
On the subject of shaking, my left hand - specifically my two outer fingers - have begun to tremor. They have always been prone to bad circulation more than anywhere else in my body, but Julie actually saw my fingers twitching on several occasions while we were on holiday.
I just looked up Parkinson's disease as it seems to run in my family which, although rare, does happen - as does 'young onset' Parkinsons's; approximately 1:20 of all cases. My father's father is suffering from it now, but because he lives in Sicily and I don't, I wasn't that familiar with the intricacies of the symptoms. Having looked at the official Society website... I think it'd be a good idea if I keep an eye on the tremor.
Go me.
