It looks crooked (one star point is, actually) and the lighting is bad in the pic but kids, you gotta get the Cobra bless, now.

I am so in love with the cityscape and the writing on this. So. in. love.

Edit: So I'm going to add in some stuff about today...

There was a guy in the studio when I was there - he clearly worked there or knew the guys - called Craig. He knew all about Andy Hurley's tattoos. It was pretty weird. He also had a straightedge patch sewn onto his bag. He was sweet. It's just a shame he wasn't chubbier and less shaven-headed.

I had more "Oh, wow!" comments about my jumpwings, which is always nice, and I definitely recommend these guys for anyone looking for a tattooist in London. They're really friendly and laid back. My tattoo also ended up costing me £70 less than I was told, so that's definitely good.

The fact the star is a bit crooked will probably niggle at me, but it comes from my own drawing and it doesn't look crooked all the time - when I have my arm in a more natural position it hardly notices at all. I can still see myself getting pissy about it and having it fixed at some point in the future, though. Even if it is awesome.

I'm already planning the next one. "So thank your lucky stars" along my right arm, opposite my "for the scars and stories" tattoo. I might get the time tree from The Longue Duree on the left shoulder, opposite this one, as well. I think it's so pretty...

But yes. My tattoos are made of win, right now.

Not yet, I haven't - you know I'll comment when I do, hon.

I want to get TWNW finished tonight if I can...

And thank you for the comment on the tattoos. I think XO is really something you could get tattooed without any danger of ever, ever regretting it - it's a good choice.

yeah, the cast for Cabaret asked me 'why XO' and I said
it's my way of commemorating this point in my life. everything's changing for me and XO is my way of paying tribute to Pete for his words and the way they've helped me and will help me in the next few years. Because trust me, I'll be listening to a LOT of FOB in the coming years when times get hard.

ps. congrats on the ficwar :) <3

Exactly - my tattoos represent things that mean a lot to me now, and I know that even if my tastes have changed, the things that meant a lot to me at the age of fourteen, ten years ago, are still things I would be proud to commemorate.

ps. Thank you omfg!
